Susie & John's Lovely Benacre Wood Farm Barn wedding
The weather on the days leading up to Susie and John's wedding was pretty dire but on the day that really mattered, thankfully, the sun shone throughout – on what turned out to be a glorious day for a wedding.
Technically (sssssh don't tell anyone) Susie and John said their wedding vows in the barn and became Mr & Mrs Heritage around 10.30am with just their witnesses present. This was all part of their grand master plan, so that they could ringmaster their own outside ceremony in the beautiful surroundings of the barn later that day.
All sort of eclectic delights were arranged to delight and entrainment their family and friends after their wonderful ceremony.
These included a large two handled saw with which our bride & groom and then their guests cut pieces of timber (apparently a German tradition at weddings), a woodland photo booth consisting of a suspended picture frame and camera on a tripod, space hoppers, croquet plus various other lawn games and of course a bouncy castle.
The cakes... oh the cakes were absolutely wonderful... all supplied by the happy couples friends and families, they went down a treat after the BBQ and hamper boxes. During the evening local ceilidh band 'Skip Hire' entertainment and inspired much laughter and joy with their traditional style dancing and reels.
Thank you Susie and John for choosing me as your photographer – your wedding was an absolute blast and I really enjoyed capturing the story of your wedding day.
