Leanne & Steve's Southwood Hall wedding
What a wonderful day for an Easter wedding with the sun shining for most of the day at Leanne and Steve's lovely Southwood Hall wedding.
The day began at Steve's 'man cave' garage (love all the old American number plates Steve) with lots of opportunities for shots of him and his merry men as they prepared themselves for the big day ahead. I was honoured to be allowed to sit in Steve's pride and joy...a Mark 1 lovingly refurbed Golf and amazed to be shown the hydraulic suspension in action that raised and lowered the chassis.
Transport to Southwood Hall for Steve and his groomsmen was to be a vintage highly polished VW camper van (complete with white ribbons) which sparkled in the early morning sun.
Leaving by mid-morning I moved on to Southwood Hall to capture all the detail shot of the couples special day and the beautiful grounds at Southwood. Then meeting up with Leanne and her lovely bridesmaids (sister Louise and best friends Zoe and Victoria) along with mum Sue as they ready themselves for the special occasion.
The wedding ceremony was held in the beautiful grounds with Steve understandably a touch emotional as he awaited his stunning bride. Little Charlotte decided it was time to blow a few raspberries while the registrar performed her duties much to the amusement of everyone present.
Uniquely wedding breakfast of turkey was carved at each table by one of the guests...before the traditional cutting of the cake and first dance.
Guests partied into the evening to celebrate with Steve and Leanne with some amazing funky dance floor moves particularly by some of the guys.
It was a real pleasure and a sincere honour to tell the story of your special day Leanne and Steve through my images. Thank you so much for choosing me as your wedding photographer.
