Important Notice

Thank you for visiting my website. Please be advised that I have taken the decision to close my photography business asap due to an unexpected change in my personal circumstances.

My wife has suffered a major brain haemorrhage recently and following two life saving operations remains in a critical condition in Addenbrooks hospital and myself and my three sons continue to give our love and support to her at this difficult time.

Given that I currently don’t know the outcome for my wife in terms of whether she will have a disability, will over time make a good recovery or whether I will need to be her full time carer, I simply feel I can not continue my photography business.

All couples who have a booking with me this year or next will either be contacted by local recommended wedding photographer Sam Gee (https://www.samgeephotography.co.uk/weddings/) or via an email from me advising them of the options available to them.

I wish to say a sincere thank you to all the brides & grooms whose wedding day stories I have told, to all the suppliers I have met and to the wonderful venues I have been to.

A big thank you for all the kind messages of support that I have recently received which have been much appreciated

Mark

A little introduction

A very warm welcome to you. It may sound a little cliché but I'm extremely passionate about photographing weddings – I feel sincerely honoured when couples choose me to document their wedding day. There's nothing more satisfying than providing a collection of photos that can make you laugh, cry and provide memories of your loved ones for years to come.

For me, the best wedding photography should capture people in a natural way. Magical images can be created in split seconds. A situation where a relatively normal moment is unfolding can be made into a very powerful image just by the shift of the eyes, or a touch of the fingertips, a knowing wink or a smile. I see my role at a wedding, really, to observe and preserve.

Your wedding story is special and unique, so I don't work to a rigid formula. I like to keep things relaxed, documenting your day as it unfolds naturally, 'in-the-moment'. Therefore, I don’t limit myself to the number of images I take at your wedding; I am there to capture the dynamics, emotion and love between you, your family and your friends. I want you to love and cherish these moments for a lifetime.

Your wedding is probably the most important day of your life, understandably you will want to choose a photographer who fits the vision for your special day. If you are looking for natural looking photos by an award winning wedding photographer, who is discreet and unobtrusive, then I would love you to consider me.
